March 7, 1942 – “Tamara Faye LaValley (d. 2007) was born in International Falls, Minn., [on this date]. She later married fellow bible college student Jim Bakker. Together they established a Christian talk variety show, the PTL Club, which collapsed in 1987 amid a sex and money scandal.”
