March 19, 1962 – Minnesota-native Bob Dylan's self-titled debut LP hit shelves on [this date]. The album failed to crack the Billboard charts and sold about 5,000 copies that year. In July of 1962, he returned to Columbia Studio A with a new song called ‘Blowin' In The Wind.’ It had been a part of his live show for months, and by the next summer, it would completely transform his life.”
