On This Date in Minnesota History: March 6

March 6, 2002 – In the episode “Dead Irish Writers” of the TV show The West Wing, which first aired on this date, character Donna Moss claims to be from Warroad, Minn.  In this episode, she becomes classified as a non-US citizen when the Canadian border is shifted south, moving Warroad into Canada.
