On This Date in Minnesota History: June 6

June 6, 1945“A horrifying multiple-murder by Robert Doan of Mahtowa [Minn.] - he killed his wife and four children. He ‘lost his temper’ after being fired from his job as a bulldozer operator at Duluth's Williamson-Johnson Municipal Airport that was followed by an argument with his wife. He was sentenced to life in prison.”
