October 25, 1987 – Thirty years ago today, the Minnesota Twins beat the St. Louis Cardinals at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, Minneapolis, Minn., in the 7^th game of the 1987 World Series, giving Minnesota their first World Series victory.
