The watchman warded off the first blow, but the second felled him, and he began to call for help. Mill hands then ran to his rescue, and then began a furious fight between Carlson and half a dozen workmen.
When overpowered and taken to Central Station, Carlson would only say that he was the king of Denmark and was on the warpath. He will be examined in the probate court.
