December 23, 2007 – “High wind and ice
coated power lines blacked out tens of thousands of people in the Midwest. The
storm was blamed for at least 22 deaths. At least 8 people in Minnesota, 5 in
Wisconsin, 3 each in Indiana and Wyoming and one each in Michigan, Texas and
Kansas were killed in traffic accidents.”
