September 23, 2012 – “Cloquet [Minn.] native Jessica Lange won an Emmy Award on [this date] for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie.

“Lange won for her role as Constance Langdon, a dramatic busybody neighbor, in the first season of the FX series ‘American Horror Story.’ In its first season, the series was the story of a family that moved to a sketchy mansion in Los Angeles, a place where the dead interact with the living.

“It [was] the second Emmy Award of Lange’s career and fourth nomination. Her other win was for ‘Grey Gardens.’”
