On This Date in Minnesota History: March 30

March 30, 1920 – “From all parts of [Thief River Falls] reports are trickling in of a strange man who hides behind trees and jumps out at the ladies as they go by, oftentimes grabbing them and kissing them before they fully realize what the man is about. The police have been constantly on the job trying to catch to catch the man but so far have failed in their efforts to locate him.”
